Our client who are based in the Bracknell area are seeking temporary support for 3-4 months whilst they transfer onto their new finance system.

Paying the equivalent of £32,000 - £35,000 on an hourly rate, the client needs someone to hit the ground running and look after the transactions of the company.

The role will oversee the winding down of local systems and processes, while this transfers to the Head Office. There will also be a requirement to cover off audit queries. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn from existing members of staff and take on their work, whilst having the ability to work independently thereafter. This role would therefore suit an all-rounder, such as an experienced book keeper or a qualified by experience accountant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day transaction for the site
• Report to the FD based at the company Head Office
• Raise invoices for orders
• Amended monthly invoices for tracking fees
• Manage the local purchase ledger function as it is transferred to head office
• Manage the local credit control function as it is transferred to head office
• Raise payment requests to Head Office
• Maintain reconciliations (bank, deferment, Vat, etc)
• Gather required information for the audit
• Post monthly journals as required
• Vat return calculation
• Liaising with suppliers & clients
• Chasing outstanding monies
• Deal with Audit Queries on the ground
• Liaising with external accountants when required
• General office and business support

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a similar role
• Experience of working with a fully integrated online accounting system
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Reliable, honest and dedicated
