A company in Watford are seeking some temporary Finance Manager support! This role requires someone who is Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
This is an urgent requirement and will be for around 2-4 months until a permanent member of staff starts with them.
The job will be full time in the office and will support the FD and Finance Assistant in the day-to-day responsibilities with a key focus on the below:
- To produce the financial reports and/or schedules for the preparation of final audited accounts
- To produce the monthly reporting pack
- To prepare and present the monthly management accounts and associated reporting in a timely manner.
- To co-ordinate and produce the budget forecast returns
- To prepare budget modelling scenarios including (but not limited too) original budgets, provisional budgets and final budgets with full financial variance analysis.
- To review and oversee the Group VAT returns
- To review and maintain appropriate accounting records within the Finance System Accounting Ledgers and to ensure a monthly reconciliation of a range of balance sheet accounts including (but not limited too) all bank accounts, Payroll, specific debtor/creditor accounts and all suspense accounts.
- To review and take responsibility for all inter-company transactions
- To produce cash flow statements on a monthly basis, to advise on any variances and alert Director to any issues.
- To reconcile, analyse and prepare variance analysis for all Payroll costs both monthly and annually for internal and external review.
- To oversee and review P&L statements for each revenue stream.
- To manage the financial processing and reporting of Capital expenditure
- Posting prepayments and accruals monthly.
- To be responsible for ensuring payroll and pensions accounting, reconciliation and processing is managed efficiently and correctly.
This is a temporary position so requires someone who can start immediately. it will pay £200-230 a day PAYE.
