Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a great organisation based within the Hitchin area. My client have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join their team. This person will be managing a team of 3 people, and 1 person based within the office, so previous management experience is essential, within a warehouse environment. This person will also need to have previous experience within supply chain, and this will also be a part of the role. 

Salary - £55,000
Hours - 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 

Some of the duties will include:

• Managing a warehouse team of around 3 people, and 1 person in the office
• Managing the end-to-end supply chain of all parts, products and services 
• Ensuring products and parts stocks are maintained and managed to meet the needs of the business 
• Calculating stock levels 
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders 
• Supplier relationship management of a variety of suppliers 
• Producing regular reports and statistics on behalf of the department
• Ensuring fulfilment of spares and machines orders to customers 
• Ensure products and services are purchased at the best possible price and then distributed on time and in full

The suitable candidate:

• Previous experience within warehouse management and supply chain - at least 5 years
• Previous experience with SAP is desirable 
• Good time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills 
• Great organisational skills 
• Problem-solving skills 
• Sense of ownership and pride in performance
