We are pleased to be recruiting for one of the UK’s leading specialists in their field, our client is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their busy shipping team on a 12-month fixed term contract based in Luton.

As part of this role you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of all systems planning data and replenishment order consignments so a keen eye for detail is essential!

This is a fully office-based role however once you have completed probation there is opportunity for hybrid working. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. The salary for this role is paying up to £25,000 depending on candidate experience. Duties:

• Check and authorise purchase order confirmations and invoices for all replenishment consignments into the business.
• Monitor and expedite all inbound replenishment orders to ensure they arrive on-time.
• Establish and maintain excellent communication and relationships with all suppliers.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation and customs paperwork relating to importation are available at source and accompany consignments into the UK.
• Check and update product and planning data, liaise with suppliers and 3^rd parties to obtain latest information where appropriate.
• Review and manage the planning system setup ensuring that the correct costs and planning parameters are reflected the database.
• Manage the item card and supplier data setup.
• Ensure that the systems data is maintained.
• Liaise with appointed shippers and freight forwarders to ensure a smooth collection and transportation of company products.
• Support the Shipping Manager in service partner service review and tendering.
• Manage shipment discrepancies and liaise with suppliers to report and remedy damages, shortages, lateness.
• Managing operational queries from internal customers.

Candidate requirements:

• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong Collaborative skills.
• Team player who actively contributes to the team’s operation and development
• Analytical approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Working knowledge of or exposure to ERP systems would be desired.
