Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with an exciting organisation based within the St Albans area. Our client is looking for a Junior Designer to join their team. This position would suit a Graduate level candidate looking to start a career within a Design role.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a creative role, an interest in developing this further, as well as good administrative skills.

Salary - £19,000-£21,000 depending on experience


Some of the duties will include:

• Design new products and packaging
• Create any PoS or marketing tools that are required for individual products or product ranges
• Be aware of what competitors are developing and selling
• Gain an understanding of target markets and costs
• Art working product designs and packaging designs
• Coordinate and build strong working relationships with various internal departments
• Brian storming and researching new ideas
• Keeping up to date and monitoring key industry events
• Assist Product Team with range launches
• Ensure rework jobs are completed within a timely manner
• Ad-hoc duties as and when required

The suitable candidate: 

• An interest and flair for photography 
• Creative skills 
• Previous experience with Illustrator and Photoshop 
• Graduate is desirable not essential 
• Strong communication skills on all levels 
• Previous experience within a similar position
