Think Specialist Recruitment turned 15 years old on 4th January 2026!

In January 2011 Think Specialist Recruitment was founded by our Managing Director, Chris Jones, from a spare room at his home in Hemel Hempstead.

Having spent 6 years working for one of the world's largest recruitment businesses, Chris was approached by an angel investor who was keen to back him in the launching of his own company. Armed with a laptop, phone, whiteboard and lots of enthusiasm, Chris launched Think Specialist Recruitment and never looked back!

15 years and thousands of placements later, Think Specialist Recruitment has become the go to recruitment business for many clients and employs a team of 9 out of our HQ on Maylands Avenue in Hemel Hempstead.

Most recently we became an Employee Ownership Trust and Chris is still very much involved in the day to day running of Think's operations alongside of our excellent team of Recruiters. 

Initially focusing on Business Support vacancies, we now supply both permanent and temporary recruitment services across our Business Support, Accountancy & Finance and Human Resources divisions. 

We are proud to reach this fantastic milestone and are looking forward to celebrating our 15th birthday across 2026!
