We are recruiting for a national company, one that everyone in the UK and many across the globe will have heard of.

We are recruiting for an Area Manager based in Oxford.

As the Area Manager your duty will be to provide remote and on-site management, leadership and development for up to six regional sites on a regular basis, ensuring that they have the skills, knowledge, tools and confidence to provide their customers with exceptional service.

As part of the role you will be working Monday to Friday, core hours being 9am to 5pm. You will not be required to work weekends, however, will be responsible for making sure the weekend positions have staff in place and if off or vacant, cover will need to be in place. You will have a number of Operations Managers and subsequently, their Teams, reporting to you day to day in this role.

As a feel for the role, you may find that Monday you may be spending all day on sites, in back to back meetings with the team, seniors, “heads of” and then the rest of the week mainly remote based to action what had been discussed and agreed.

This is a permanent role paying a salary of £47,500 with a huge level of scope for progression within this organisation.  

Duties to include:

• Develop and maintain strong organisational knowledge of company procedures, including contractual obligations and KPI’s
• Identify and establish good relationships with key colleagues that are responsible for the delivery of services to patients
• Lead, manager, mentor and develop team members
• Create personal development plans
• Recruitment and onboarding of new team members
• Attending weekly/monthly meetings
• Overall responsibility for client satisfaction
• Senior escalation point of contact

The skills required:

• Previous experience as an Area Manager, Franchise Manager, Site Manager within any industry.
   
• Business minded with the ability to grasp the concept of looking at the day to day running of these sites, managing the staff and teams to the best of their ability.

• Must have a valid UK driving license.
