Think Specialist Recruitment have registered an exciting new role for a Senior HR Advisor to join a highly successful company on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Our Harpenden-based client is looking for someone who can provide all-round employee relations support to the Head of HR within a quickly changing environment. We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor, who has strong knowledge of all elements of employee relations, including writing up new policies, amending old policies, delivering training and dealing with escalated grievances.  Flexibility is key in this role as occasional travel within the UK might be needed to deliver employee training sessions or to meet off-site staff. My client can offer flexible working including working from home when needed.

Duties to Include:

• Provide all round support for the Head of HR
• Support all Advisors/Assistants with difficult or escalated cases, coaching and supporting their development
• Supporting with redundancy processes and TUPE activity
• Creating and amending key HR policy and procedure documents
• Ensuring HR policies and procedures are adhered to
• Promoting sound employee relations and facilitating a positive working environment
• Aiding Managers dealing with complex employee relation matters through advice and support
• Handling high-volume ER cases within agreed timescales
• Providing advice to employees on key legislation, policies and processes
• Producing and delivering key training

Candidate Requirements:

• Resilient, bubbly personality able to handle a fast-paced environment
• An understanding of short-term contracting environments
• Senior level HR experience
• Strong understanding of employment legislation, policies and procedures
• Strong user of Microsoft Office
• Friendly and able to build relationships at all levels across the business
