Last month we announced that we had renewed our membership to REC (The Recruitment and Employment Confederation), which is the professional body for UK recruitment businesses, representing 82% of the recruitment market place.

We work with other REC members to uphold high standards within the industry. We adhere to their code of conduct and ensure that all standards are met. Every 2 years REC asks it members to take a compliance test to ensure we are adhering to ensure this

Since January 2015, REC have refused entry to 81 agencies because they failed to demonstrate that they were fully compliant with their Code of Professional Practice and removed 78 agencies from membership in January 2017 because they failed to pass the online compliance test. That’s 153 organisations that the REC has denied membership to in the last two years.
