We are currently working with a market leading, international company to recruit a Delivery Coordinator for their UK head office.

Based in Watford, this role will include providing administrative support to the Supply Chain team and ensure the smooth delivery of goods to their UK customer base. The successful candidate will have previous administration experience (ideally in supply chain/sales admin or similar), good IT skills and an excellent work ethic.

Initially this role will be on a temporary basis with the strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. We are looking for candidates that are interested in full time work, Monday to Friday and someone who can start straight away!

Overview of duties:

• To process all orders accurately and in a timely manner. 
• To be the first point of contact for customers with delivery enquiries or complaints
• To monitor all outstanding purchase orders and ensure that all amendments including delivery dates and stock allocations are carried out efficiently and within the timescales set out by the company.
• Communicating slippages, delays and other related problems efficiently to both customers, account managers and suppliers so that all parties are aware of issues affecting the service Supply Chain is providing
• Ensure delivery notes are created for allocated customers prior to delivery of a direct container so that the delivery can be posted and invoiced successfully.
• Assist other Supply Chain team members with investigations into stock discrepancies 
• All associated administrative tasks

Candidate requirements:

• Previous supply chain experience desirable - NOT ESSENTIAL!
• Previous administration experience
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent team player – flexible and hard working
• Strong organisation skills
