The business is growing quickly and has an opportunity for a Collections Officer/Collections Account Manager/Collections Advisor to join their growing team and be responsible for all aspects of collections and management of customer accounts. Candidates MUST have B2C collections experience!

Salary circa £22,000 to £26,000 + excellent bonus potential + benefits

We are looking for candidates with some previous financial services experience within a collections focused role. You must also be happy working across a shift pattern (days/hours to be discussed on application).

Overview of duties:

• Handle any inbound customer queries regarding their accounts
• Dealing with customers who have gone into arrears or missed payments
• Collecting outstanding debt and setting up payment plans
• Manage a portfolio of live, current and overdue customer accounts.
• Undertake courtesy welcome calls to customers
• Manage customer payments over the phone
• Manage and prioritise own workload meeting business targets.
• Resolve all queries in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Facilitate and record escalations and complaints.
• Resolve collections issues, disputes, order fulfilment and queries.
• Work closely with the other colleagues to ensure that the business is focused on enhancing the customer and client experience while remaining compliant to its regulatory requirements.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous finance/financial services experience desirable
• Collections background is essential
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Able to effectively manage own workload
• An understanding of financial services regulations (Treating Customers Fairly, Anti Money Laundering etc)
