We are currently working with one of our leading clients recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team. Primarily, this 2-3 month temp position has been created to support the Logistics Manager, ensuring that all essential processes and administrative duties are undertaken in an efficient and time saving manner.  

We are looking for experienced candidates who are immediately available. The successful candidate will have a background of working within a supply chain or logistics environment and possess strong administration and organisation skills.

Main duties to include:

• Maintain and update the Outbound Deliveries diary
• Update and maintain the customer portal including SAP and Excel spreadsheets – this will include calculating costs
• To arrange all direct shipment containers for National accounts
• Provide all POD’s, charges and invoices for transport to credit control as and when requested
• Deliver impeccable customer service as a key point of contact for outbound customer related queries
• Daily reporting on new sales orders for national and independent accounts.
• Investigate delivery shortage claims
• To print and distribute all relevant documentation for deliveries
• To arrange collections for faulty items if requested

Candidate requirements:

• Experience of working within a logistics/supply chain role
• Excellent organisational skills
• Working knowledge of shipments
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Experience of working with SAP
• Strong experience of working within a fast-paced environment
