Think Specialist Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established, international business to recruit for a Collections Advisor, working within their large UK offices. With a dynamic, vibrant and modern working environment and excellent benefits package, the role will be predominantly telephone based and will deal with a range of financial enquiries from their UK customer base. We are seeking candidates with previous inbound/outbound customer service or contact centre experience or candidates with a collections or commercial finance background.
Duties to include:
- Working as part of the Customer Service team to ensure an excellent quality of service to the customer base at all times
- Handling financial queries, problems and/or complaints from customers
- Comply with all company procedures and regulations
- Investigating customer issues ensuring they are kept up to date with the process
- Take on any tasks and job functions allocated to you and ensure they are completed accurately and within the set time frame
- To comply with all relevant legislation at all times such as Consumer Credit Act, Money Laundering Act, Data Protection Act and the FLA code of practice
- Ensure department Service Quality Commitments are met whilst also maintaining high standards and excellent Customer Service
- Accurately maintain company systems and databases
- Respond to all Customer enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner
- Interact with other departments within company regarding queries
- Identify potential frauds and money laundering in line with procedure
Candidate requirements:
- Financial or collections experience
- Strong customer service skills and excellent telephone manner
- Computer literacy – including Microsoft office package
- Flexible approach
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Prioritisation and organisation skills
- Willing to learn new processes ensuring adaptability
- Fully Support team members & line manager
- Pro-active towards problem solving and decision making
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Hours and benefits:
- 8.30am to 5.00pm / 9.30am to 6.00pm shifts, Monday to Friday
