The business is growing quickly and has an opportunity for a part time (Saturdays AND Sundays only) Collections Advisor to join their small team and be responsible for all aspects of customer service, collections and management of customer accounts. Salary circa £22,000 to £24,000 pro rata + excellent bonus potential + benefits

We are looking for candidates with some previous financial services experience, ideally within a collections and/or customer service focused role. You must also be happy working within a small team and take a 'mature' approach to managing your own workload.

Overview of duties:

• Handle any inbound customer queries regarding their accounts
• Manage a portfolio of live, current and overdue customer accounts.
• Undertake courtesy welcome calls to customers
• Manage customer payments over the phone
• Manage and prioritise own workload meeting business targets.
• Resolve all queries in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Facilitate and record escalations and complaints.
• Resolve collections issues, disputes, order fulfilment and queries.
• Work closely with the other colleagues to ensure that the business is focused on enhancing the customer and client experience while remaining compliant to its regulatory requirements.

Candidate requirements:

• Able to work both Saturdays and Sundays on a long term basis
• Previous finance/financial services experience desirable
• Collections and/or customer service background essential
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Able to effectively manage own workload
• An understanding of financial services regulations (Treating Customers Fairly, Anti Money Laundering etc)
