Accounts Payable Clerk – Immediate Start
Hemel Hempstead | 9AM to 4PM 
Office-Based | Temporary (Potential to become a permanent role)

Think Accountancy & Finance are working with a well-established company based in Hemel Hempstead to find a confident and detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to support their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive culture.

The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of supplier accounts – setting up new vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely reconciliations
• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices in line with internal controls and approval processes
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Managing staff expenses and company credit card reconciliations
• Promptly responding to and resolving supplier queries, building and maintaining positive relationships
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required during busy periods

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• A proactive and solution-focused approach
• Great communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset
