Are you experienced in Credit Control and seeking your next opportunity?

Think Accountancy & Finance is collaborating with an excellent finance team at a company located in the picturesque town of Berkhamsted.

We are searching for a proactive individual who can immediately make an impact, potentially implement their own processes, and take full ownership of the company's Credit Control operations.

12 Month FTC, with the possibility of extension.

8:30am – 5pm

Fully Office Based, onsite parking.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and monitoring customer acounts
• Resolving client queries
• Monitoring inbox
• Opening new accounts for customers
• Making up credit notes, prepairing and issuing statements 
• Conducting credit checks 
• Assisting with yearly Audits
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the wider accounts team

Skills required

• 2+ Years Credit Control experience 
• Strong /Advanced excel skills (i.e. VLOOKUP/ Pivot table/ Sum if)
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Must be assertive but non-confrontational
• Hands on Approach, must be a self-starter
• Team Player within a small company environment
• Ability to operate under pressure
• Ability to work to deadlines is required
• Good attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Being flexible to deal with multiple customer accounts
