We have an exciting In-house Recruitment Manager opportunity to work out of brand new offices for a large healthcare company in Luton. We are looking for candidates with Recruitment Manager/Talent Acquisition Manager experience – MUST have healthcare or medical industry knowledge and experience leading a team!
You will manage a team of recruiters to drive and deliver the talent attraction strategy. Working closely with the recruitment administration team you will ensure applicants are progressed through pre-employment screening and onboarding.
Duties to include:
- Responsible for monitoring and increasing productivity of the recruiters in your team to create a more efficient, cost-effective team.
- Managing the workload distribution among the team
- Drive and deliver best practice solutions for Talent Attraction including campaigns, screening, and placement of applicants
- Leading recruitment initiatives when opening new sites
- Working with the recruitment administration team to ensure that candidates preemployment screening and onboarding is carried out in a timely manner
- Deliver against defined, measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and SLA reporting monthly
- Working closely with the head of recruitment, and stakeholders to identify their service and recruitment needs, identifying, and implementing strategies to build candidate pipelines to support these
- Monitor and manage and report performance within the Recruitment function, including adherence to KPI’s and SLA’s as agreed with the Head of Recruitment
- Coaching staff to develop to improve service, increase skills and progress professional develop. Including delivering regular 121’s and performance reviews
- Acting as an ATS super user, working internally and externally with the ATS provider on system optimisation, improvement, and development
- Developing a talent pipe line plan and approach with recruiters to actively source candidates
Candidate requirements:
- Demonstrable experience managing a high performing recruitment team preferably within a healthcare or medical setting
- Experience formulating campaigns and managing external recruitment
- Experience working to challenging SLAs and KPIs
- Highly developed specialist and working knowledge of employment legislation, policies, regulations
- Expert understanding of applicant engagement strategies
- Competent in the use of ATS systems
- Significant experience of optimizing the use of Applicant Tracking Systems to improve the efficiency of recruitment process
- Significant experience of building and managing a team
- Ability to plan and organise and prioritise workload personally and of a team
- Ability to interact confidently with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work from their Luton offices due to open shortly
