Interim Financial Accountant - Hemel Hempstead

3-6 month Temporary Assisgnment

 Think Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a local client in Hemel Hempstead in helping them sourcing for an interim Financial Accountant 3-6 month temp. We are looking for someone to support provide full support to the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Manager. You will be either CIMA, or ACA part or fully qualified.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and providing analysis and explanations to budget holders.
• Month end reporting including preparing / posting journals and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyse actuals and variances against Budgets / Forecasts
• Assist in the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts using appropriate tools.
• Assist with the Year End Statutory Accounts completion
• Lead in all areas of UK VAT and assist in other tax reporting
• Ad hoc analysis as required.

Key Skills;

• Recently qualified accountant (preferably CIMA), or part qualified accountant (preferably CIMA) with a desire to qualify
• Substantial experience regarding VAT
• Previous experience of SAP highly desirable
• First class Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
