Do you have a strong HR Advisor level background and lots of experience dealing with employee relations, staff engagement and managing change? Are you experienced in working closely with Managers to coach, advise and guide on all things HR? Think Human Resources are pleased to be working with a large, national company to recruit a HR Advisor for an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
The position will support circa 130 staff within a newly appointed contract and deal with generalist HR duties with a focus on employee relations, change management, harmonisation of contracts and coaching management teams.
Duties to include:
- Member of Operating Unit HR Team which collectively enables delivery of people plans and business as usual objectives.
- Advising line managers incorporating competencies / behaviours and liaising with the resourcing team to optimise recruitment opportunities.
- Advice on early stage grievance / disciplinary action including attendance at hearings as appropriate only
- Generating attendance management reports and highlighting areas of concern, agreeing plans to improve with line managers and supporting delivery.
- Monitoring of the annual One HR PDR cycle, acting as a super-user and ensuring completion in a timely manner.
- Supporting with the month end reporting process ensuring that data is collated, accurate and provided on time.
- Supporting the launch of new policies & processes, conducting workshops / webex’s where appropriate.
- Providing general HR assistance and acting as the link between the HR operations team and Employee Services
- Advise line managers on employee engagement initiatives to ensure best practice
- Maintain a continuous professional development log (CPD)
- Support TUPE In’s and TUPE Out’s and act as initial contact.
- Supporting the annual HR cycle, including annual salary reviews, bonus confirmation
- Supporting structural change and mobilisations
Candidate requirements:
- MUST have experience at HR Advisor level
- Experienced in dealing with employee relations
- Union experience would be desirable
- Engaging, confident and outgoing character
- Available to commence an initial 12 month contract ASAP
- 4 days in the office and 1 from home
