This client is on the lookout for an ambitious Accounts Assistant. They are ideally looking for someone who is keen and eager to grow and develop their accountancy career. Open to supporting with studies they are keen to find someone who is willing to learn, grow and develop.

Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be supporting the Finance department with any day-to-day requirements on a transactional and administrative basis.

Responsibilities;

• Support the finance team and ensure the smooth running of the department, providing suitable cover for multiple aspects within the department when required.
• Purchase ledger and Credit control duties
• Assist with rebate administration and rebate payment administration.
• Make entries for various manual transactions as required.
• Manage the petty cash, distributing cash for approved requests and balancing the cash, preparing journal entries to reconcile ledger balance.
• Assist with expense processing with accounting system
• Access various online portals to enter or collect data as required, including customer statistics
• Preparation and entry of monthly fixed asset depreciation schedule
• Assist with fixed asset register entries and administration.
• Assist with general administration within the offices and throughout the company, assist with answering any telephone calls
