We are working with the UK head office (Hemel Hempstead) of an extremely exciting global business who are at the forefront of their sector; a well-known, modern and futuristic brand known and seen across the UK and worldwide in homes and offices.

We are looking for a proactive & organised individual with proven administration skills to join this company as a Junior Supply Chain Planner on an initial 6 month contract. This role has developed out of the growth of the business and the services they provide, so there is a great chance this could extend or go permanent if of interest to the right candidate. 

The role of the Junior Supply Chain Planner will be to support the supply chain planners in ensuring full and consistent availability of assigned product categories paired with efficient cost management. 

This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, working fully from the offices based in Hemel Hempstead, with free on site parking and excellent public transport access via bus or train; paying a salary of £32,000 to £34,000 pro-rata. 

Overview of duties:

• Use SAP to create PO's
• Creating and updating shipping schedules and production orders
• Monitor status of real demand (sales orders)
• Ensure Supply Chain Planner's are aware of Excess and Shortages
• Support Supply Chain Planners in preparing data and files
• Pulling off reports (weekly/monthly) and downloading information from SAP where required

What you need:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in planning, supply chain or logistics is hugely advantageous
• SAP Experience
• Able to analyse data and create supply chain solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Good skills on MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
