Monday to Friday

Early start, early finish – Hours to be discussed with shortlisted candidates

Duties:

• Checking customers credit ratings
• Ensuring new customer accounts are set-up within company credit policy
• Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
• Providing weekly reports on debtor status
• Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
• Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
• Following the Company credit policy to issue warnings and legal letters to late payers
• Liaise with debt collector/solicitor to recover unpaid debts
• Keeping a record of all communication with customers

Candidate requirements:

• Good Excel skills
• Cash flow management
• Working in an SME environment
• Computer literate – be able to run reports and check transactions postings
• Tenacious and determined
• Able to develop good working relationships over the phone and by email
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Excellent written and verbal communication
