Our client are looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join their growing Finance team. This position would suit a Graduate who is looking for an opportunity to kick start their career. 

Some of the duties will include: 

• Production of monthly Management Accounts
• Ensure P&L balances are accurate and reconcile to supporting analytical databases
• Make sure inventory is correctly valued and reconciled on a monthly basis
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register and liaising with operations to track and accurately record capital expenditure
• Prepare divisional P&Ls and supporting information
• Preparation of monthly price variance analysis
• Preparation of monthly inventory analysis
• Responsibility for budgetary control of allocated areas
• Overall responsibility for the standard costing system
• Liaising with cost centre owners to complete spend budgets
• Ongoing development of internal and external reporting systems
• Maintenance of approvals in the purchase order system

The suitable candidate:

• Graduate studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Strong Excel skills
• Able to work within a fast paced environment
• Good time management
• Ability to work well as part of a team
