Candidate Requirements
- Management or supervisory experience, managing a sales or account management team
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Strong presentation skills combined with clear verbal and communication skills.
Our client, an international business based in Watford, is looking for a talented Team Leader to manage a brand-new sales team, working closely with surgeons and medical professionals to supply quality medical devices. This team works closely with clients to identify their needs and fulfil their sales requirements, offering an excellent and bespoke service in order to retain their business and build relationships. We are looking for someone with knowledge of the medical industry and strong sales experience, with the ability to manage and develop a new team to sell life-saving products.
Main Duties:
- Manage and support the sales team ensuring delivery of targets and growth of accounts within the team
- Support the recruitment and training for the remote sales team
- Developing the team, reviewing quality and results
- Helping the team to work towards their targets, developing their sales skills
- Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies.
- Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
- Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
- Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up
- Leads price & contract negotiations to successfully close customer deals
- Delivers on-going product servicing by delivering accurate product information and forecasting and active supply chain management
- Ensures repeat purchase orders by understanding customer buying decisions making process & patterns
