Think Accountancy and Finance are seeking an immediately available Accounts Assistant for a Temporary role based in Watford. The position offers an opportunity of a permanent role if the opportunity arises for the right candidate.

This is a full-time role in the office Monday to Friday and is due to start quickly so please only apply if you are available immediately.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing vendor invoices
• Coding invoices
• Routing invoices to correct budget holders and ensuring they are approved ready for payment
• Resolving invoice queries
• Reconciliations
• Petty Cash
• Processing employee expenses
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations

We are looking for applicants with the following skills and experience:

• Accountancy and Finance Graduates
• Practical experience within accounting
• Highly motivated and a fast learner
• Team player
• Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible attitude in prioritising work

This position will pay c.£28,000 should it be recruited permanently and therefore will be paid the equivalent on an hourly rate when it is a temporary role.
