Think Accountancy and Finance have an exciting opportunity to join a Client of ours in St Albans who are recruiting for a Junior Accounts Assistant.

We are looking for candidates who are at the very beginning of their career and would like the opportunity to join an international business.

This role is based within a supportive and dynamic finance team who are excited to bring a new recruit into their office.

Overview of duties:

• Posting of purchase invoices
• Posting bank transactions
• Statement reconciliation
• Assisting with month/year end accounts
• Cash and bank reconciliation
• Assisting with pricing of all products
• All support required within Accounts Payable

Candidate requirements:

• A can do attitude with a high level of motivation
• Strong IT skills including the use of Excel
• Confidence with use of IT Systems (training will be provided)
• A recent school leaver or university graduate

Please note that this is a full time role 5 days of work required within the office. Due to the location of the office car drivers/owners would be preferable as public transport is limited.
