Think Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a growing but well established business with its Head Office in Hemel Hempstead. They are recruiting for an Accountant who is part qualified or qualified who has a solid background of accounts. Ideally you will have worked in practice or a similar role where you required an understanding of bookkeeping and processing full accounts.

Duties include:

• Managing your own workflow and delivery
• Meeting and exceeding KPI’s and Targets set by the business
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Statutory Accounts
• HMRC documentation and filing
• VAT reporting
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Query resolutions
• Integration of new data
• Manage own workflow and tasks
• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Producing internal and external reports
• Project work
• Attend face to face client meetings

My client is looking for candidates who have:

• Strong technical accounts background
• Have good understanding of double entry bookkeeping
• Good Excel experience
• Have exceptional communications skills – written and oral
• Have a “solution finding” nature
• Be able to communicate with people internally and externally
• Be able to use own initiative
• Be Part or fully Qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA or QBE

This role will have some hybrid working to begin with, but you will be required in the office for training regularly in the beginning months.
