Do you have experience of managing talent programmes across a large business? Are you experienced in building and rolling out talent development and recruitment agendas within an internal recruitment function? We are looking to find a competent Recruitment and Talent Development Manager to join our market leading client on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Working closely with key stakeholders throughout the UK business, this role will be responsible for the development and implementation of talent and leadership development programmes that align to key corporate objectives. The Talent Manager will ensure that recruitment and talent acquisition strategies are effective, whilst making sure that internal talent can flourish.
Candidates MUST have experience of delivering talent development strategies, along with experience of working with an internal recruitment function. This is NOT a day-to-day Internal Recruiter role so please only apply if you have experience of managing talent development programmes and projects!
Initially a remote role, the successful candidate will be expected to base themselves from the Slough office in the near future so candidates must be within a commutable distance of the head office and be able to undertake some UK travel.
Duties to include:
- Manage and oversee internal development programmes
- Manage the provision of internal talent management programmes
- Support the managers and business stakeholders through the roll out of Resourcing and Talent Management initiatives.
- Work closely with managers to understand and be aware of upcoming key appointments to ensure suitable candidate pipelines are in place
- Identify resourcing needs for senior appointments and develop business plan for service provision
- Source, develop and manage productive relationships with appropriate vendors to support with resourcing needs
- Maintain Resourcing and Talent policies, ensuring appropriate updates aligned to regulatory and business updates as required
- Act as a consultant to HR and line management in regards to resourcing and talent management matters
- Act as main point of contact for wider HR function for resourcing needs
- Lead graduate recruitment agenda, ensuring engagement with the necessary stakeholders Develop and deliver recruitment training activities to support with the wider talent agenda
- Work with the Global talent team to support talent programme initiatives and implementation of those in the UK market
- Measure effectiveness of attraction and recruitment activity, providing reporting where required
- Assess competitors, the market and workforce demographics and work with Reward and Recognition to position the business effectively
- Manage and oversee strategic activities and volume recruitment projects
- Support and lead recruitment branding activities aligned to market data and trends
- Propose, plan and implement service improvements and cost saving opportunities
- Facilitate 360 feedback process and other talent development activities for the business
- Support annual talent cycle activities including Employee Development Reviews and Employee Calibrations
Candidate requirements:
- Experience of managing and implementing talent development programmes
- Extensive recruitment experience at all levels
- Internal recruitment/talent acquisition experience essential
- Available to start a 12 month fixed term contract ASAP
- Fantastic communication skills, able to work with all levels of management
- Proven experience of overseeing talent management initiatives
