Our client is a cloud based Accountancy Practice that is looking to expand their team by taking on an experienced practice accountant who will directly support the MD as well as manage the other accountancy staff in the team. The practice has a wide client base with varying requirements so ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years experience within a practice setting. Knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax is highly desirable.

Main duties include:

• Be the first point of contact for all clients, ensuring all questions and queries are responded to in a timely manner
• Personal Tax Returns
• VAT Returns
• Management Accounts
• Year end Accounts
• Line management of two people including training and development as needed
• Year End Accounts responsibilities
• Liaise with HMRC as required
• Attend Networking events a key representative of the business
• Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries
• Training clients on Cloud software

Experience Required

• You must be qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 5 years experience or AAT Qualified with a proven track record
• Be highly organised
• Experienced in managing members of a team at all levels
• Have outstanding and exemplary communication skills to manage even difficult conversations
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of Cloud accountancy software.
