Due to international and UK Based growth the Finance team is growing and are currently looking for a Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Payable Manager with the Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.

This role is full time in the office, with plenty of parking and opportunities for career development which makes this is the perfect opportunity for someone to join a stable and growing business and reap the rewards of potential career progression

Overview of duties:

• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Process additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation for all locations and ensuring register is clear and accurate.
• Analysis and reconciliation of costs
• Support the fixed asset inventory process by sending the reports, analysing the results and communicating the results and actions required to location managers.
• VAT reconciliation, obtain VAT invoices from vendor.
• Ensure payroll journals are actioned from Payroll department each fortnight and period end.
• Assist in coding & routing vendor invoices.
• Preparation of period end journals.
• Knowledge of Double entry Bookkeeping
• Provide assistance and cover other adhoc duties.

This role is based in Watford and will be FULLY office based (working hours 9am – 5:30pm) with an hours lunch break.
