Think Accountancy and Finance are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with experience working in corporate business.

The company are a Global organisation and require someone to manager a Tax Accountant and lead the team in all aspects of Corporation Tax and VAT Compliance for the UK Head Office and some of its offices in Europe.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of VAT rules for domestic and cross-border transactions. The position requires someone to be competent and knowledgeable with UK corporation tax computation as well as knowledge of transfer pricing.

The position will be hybrid working with 2 days in the office each week which is based in the Elstree and Borehamwood area. If successful you will have proven experience to be able to take full responsibility for the Tax and VAT requirements and be able to represent the company with external advisors and tax authorities.

The company require a recognised Accountancy Qualification with a minimum of 3 years PQE within a Tax role.

There is an opportunity for someone in this role who requires a reduced working week (Part Time hours) however the working pattern must be across 5 days a week.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare annual tax returns for the UK and European offices
• Have responsibility for deferred tax computation
• Country by country reporting
• Produce Tax reports as instructed by Head Office
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance
• Monitor Transfer Pricing rations
• Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation for all required countries
• VAT
• Take a lead on all Tax Audits
• Supervise the VAT Returns submission in the UK
• Act as main point of contact for the Tax Authorities in the UK and Europe
• Line manage and motivate 1 direct report to achieve performance targets
