Think Specialist Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful, family feel business based in Elstree to recruit a highly organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, account management, job coordination or scheduling who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and building strong relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for job requests from existing account-holding clients, taking ownership of the process from initial logging through to engineer scheduling, job completion, reporting and invoicing.
You will play a key role in ensuring jobs are managed efficiently, clients receive excellent service and engineers have everything they need to complete their work successfully.
 

Salary: £35,000–£37,500 
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with hybrid working
Working arrangement: Hybrid working
Weekend rota: One weekend in four, with time off in lieu

Some of the duties will include:

• Act as the first point of contact for incoming job requests received by telephone, WhatsApp and email
• Accurately log new jobs within the company's job management system
• Coordinate and schedule engineers, considering geographical locations, trade requirements, availability and specialist skills
• Monitor job progress and proactively communicate updates to clients
• Liaise closely with engineers to ensure attendance times are met and all relevant information is captured
• Ensure photographs, accurate site notes, details of completed works and recommendations for additional works or quotations are received
• Track job completion, chase outstanding information and ensure jobs are closed correctly on the system
• Prepare and issue client reports and invoices
• Handle client queries, complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients
• Support monthly sales and revenue tracking, contributing towards team targets and KPIs
• Participate in the on-call rota, including one weekend in four, with time off in lieu provided
  
  

The suitable candidate:

• Previous experience in customer service, account management, scheduling or job coordination
• Experience within a B2B, property maintenance, facilities management or field-service environment would be advantageous
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, CRM platforms and job management systems
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to take ownership and use initiative
• The ability to remain calm, organised and effective under pressure in a busy operational environment
• A customer-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent service
• Flexibility to participate in the weekend and on-call rota
