As a Hertfordshire based business we have been supporting our local charity partner The Pepper Foundation for many years now. They are based in Tring, Hertfordshire and are an amazing charity.

There are over 49,000 babies, children and young people in the UK who live with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and the number of referrals are rising year on year.  The care that is provided by the Children’s Hospice at Home service is vital to help support the families who are affected and living with these conditions every day. The Pepper Foundation raises funds specifically for the children’s nursing service with a belief that patients and families living with complex health needs should be able to enjoy the best quality of life possible, however short that life may be.

Out of all the fundraising we have done over the last 10 years for Pepper, this is definitely the most challenging. Some of our team have bravely taken the challenge posed by Peppers' Kiah Nicholas - Head of Fundraising, to complete a sky-dive to raise much needed funds for this great charity. It's not for the faint hearted, and those that have signed up have checked the stats (at least three times) got the support of friends and family as well as the rest of the Think team - and are now in need of some serious fundraising support!

So we would be very grateful for any donation you can spare - no matter how small - to help up reach our team target. The services Pepper fund are so vital and include:

• Specialised nursing care so families can stay in the comfort of their own home
• Play specialist sessions for the patients & their families - so that they can keep the joy going through such a tough time
• Family days out, so they get the opportunity to get out together.
• Bereavement support for families throughout and after end of life.
  
  

So you can see why even the smallest amount will help support and also give us the guts to get this done - knowing we'll be doing our bit to bring as much comfort and joy as possible to the children and their families.
