Think Specialist Recruitment has registered a Sales Office Manager job opportunity working for a market-leading, highly successful and established company based in Luton, Bedfordshire.  Managing a department of around 12 staff, this role is responsible for the successful running of the office based sales and customer service teams to ensure they are working as effectively as possible.  The role will involve the active development of the staff members and teams whilst taking an active interest in key company accounts.

We are seeking candidates with previous sales office management, sales management, customer service management or similar experience. On top of a competitive base salary of circa £35,000 there is also an opportunity to earn an excellent bonus on top.

Overview of the role:

• Day to day management of a department of 12 staff in sales and customer services
• Lead, develop and motivate the sales support, telemarketing and sales admin teams
• Identify coaching and development requirements for team members
• Recruit, induct and train new staff
• Provide ongoing coaching and development for existing team
• Implement company strategy and incentives
• Work with senior management team to identify business strategy improvements
• Manage all promotional activity and internal sales targets
• Actively manage key customer accounts as required
• Ensure department and individual targets are achieved
• Make sure teams are providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Undertake staff reviews, appraisals and bonus allocations

Candidate requirements:

• Previous management experience is essential
• Experience of leading sales and customer service functions
• Business to business background
• Strong, competent and progressive character
• Able to implement company strategy and lead teams
• Excellent coaching, development and training skills
• A good motivator and people manager
