Due to growth our client, an established market-leader based in St Albans, is looking for a customer focused Internal Sales Executive to join their team. This role will involve dealing with inbound sales and enquires and making outbound calls to existing and warm prospective clients. This is a full-time office-based role.

Base Salary: £20,000-£25,000 (Expected OTE £25,000-£30,000)

Overview of duties:

• Inbound and outbound calls with both current and prospective clients
• Account management of business accounts and growth of own customer portfolio
• Attending events and exhibitions representing the company
• Participating in team competitions
• Identify product improvements by keeping up to date on competitors and commercial developments
• Ensuring email and phone inquiries are responded to promptly, that customers are quoted, and orders are processed efficiently
• Maintaining client/customer records on the database
• Creating detailed proposals and quotations, listening carefully to customer requirements
• Negotiating on costs, price, delivery and specifications with managers and buyers
• Follow up quotes to try to convert sales
• Gaining a clear understanding of client requirements
• Confidently dealing with colleagues across the business
• Following established sales processes

Person Requirements:

• At least 1 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment
• Excellent communication skills
• A good team player
• Self-motivator with ambition and energy
