We are delighted to be working with an exciting company based in Hemel Hempstead who are looking for a Medical Secretary to join their busy team. This is a fast paced, dynamic working environment with an outgoing and bubbly team around you. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing individual who enjoys customer interaction and wishes to progress in a professional environment. You will need to have previous experience as a Medical Secretary in order to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities;

• Deal with customers in a professional, personable and supportive manner
• Responsible for making sure customers are directed to their correct contacts and provided with relevant information and updates
• Liaise with other medical organisations and contacts on a daily basis
• Maintain an organised filing system for all documentation
• Update all medical records working with high levels of confidentiality
• Answer calls and enquiries in a professional manner
• Respond to telephone and email queries
• Offer information and guidance relating to the service, maintaining records and producing standard correspondence to customers
• Basic diary management – booking customers in, using internal and external systems  
• Transcribing medical letters and reports as required for audio files
