We are working with a household name in international logistics, looking to recruit a highly competent Customer Solutions Manager with a proven track record within the industry. With a fantastic reputation within the industry and first-class infrastructure, our client is seeking candidates with experience of providing logistics based customer solutions. The company is flexible on the location of the successful candidate.

Package - £40,000 to £45,000 + 15% bonus + company car 

Acting as the primary point of contact between the sales and commercial functions, Customer Operations provides the operational expertise to the support business acquisition, development of existing accounts and retention of customers experiencing service issues.The Customer Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the operational solution including the design, implementation and execution of customer programmes and tracking of service performance.


Overview of duties:

-Provide solutions to support acquisition, development and retention of customer accounts

-Support both UK and global key account sales teams

-Design and implement customer solution programmes matching operational capabilities and customer expectations

-Develop customised solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue achieved

-Lead client visits to key customer locations to gain trust of board level decision makers and build customer relationships

-Prepare and present high quality, informative presentations to cover all aspects of customer requirements and services provided

-Ensure all solution related costs are identified and included in rates provided

-Serve as key contact for operational costs for UK Pricing Manager

-Act as main interface between sales, key account management operational teams

-Be recognised as the subject matter expert in areas of responsibility across all business units

-Select, validate and manage third party solution providers for specific customer solutions

-Ensure that operational capabilities are understood across all departments

-Design, develop, cost and document new customer driven processes to support business opportunities

-Manage the implementation of customer solutions until successfully installed and operational

-Product, own and manage all implementation plans, ensuring all objectives are achieved on time and chairing relevant internal/external meetings


Candidate requirements:

-Experience of designing/implementing customer solutions within the logistics/transport/domestic mail or similar industry

-Strong interpersonal skills and extremely customer focused

-Proven project management skills and experience

-Good knowledge of products/services within the logistics/transport/domestic mail or similar industry

-Strong people management and leadership skills

-Excellent commercial acumen
