We are pleased to be recruiting for a Hire Controller to join a fast-paced industry leader based in Hemel Hempstead. My client is looking for someone to help service all of the company’s non-Key Account customers.

Service is paramount, can you help achieve a high standard of service to clients & contractors?

You will be mainly dealing with customers from the initial inquiry stages through to quotation, follow up, processing of the hire orders and transport to their site.

This role is Monday to Friday, hours are 8am – 5:30pm, you may very rarely be required to work the odd Saturday, but this will be picking up emergencies from home.

The salary for this role is paying between £28K - £30K

Duties:

• Building lasting relationships with customers
• Resourcing core equipment
• Advising customers on products available or alternative options
• Completing quotes on the company’s system
• Working closely with other departments to ensure hire demands are met.
• Dealing with general administrative tasks

Candidate requirements:

• Excellent customer service
• Organisational skills
• Self-motivated
• Time management skills
• IT literate
• Previous experience as a Hire Controller
