Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a business in St Albans in recruiting a Qualified or nearly Qualified Assistant Management Accountant.

This business is growing quickly, and this role has come up after an internal promotion.

This is a key role in a small team and the position will work closely with the Financial Controller. You will assist in the day-to-day functions of the accounts department.

Duties:

• Bank Reconciliations
• Supplier invoices
• Cashbook management
• Treasury
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Production of Monthly Management Accounts

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar accounting role
• Someone looking for progression within a company
• Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
• Confident and able to apply changes to streamline processes
• Experience in Project based work
• Organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
• Sage experience

This role will be office based with some days working from home at the managers discretion. There is parking on site.
