Think Accountancy and Finance are working with a business based in Watford in the recruitment of a Payroller / Payroll Manager.

The company is looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator or Payroll Manager who can deliver high quality payroll across multiple payrolls for large numbers of employees. The successful candidate will assist the supervisor in managing day to day output of the payroll administrators.

Description of duties:

• Assist in leading the team for multiple payrolls end to end
• Take ownership of any payments outside of the monthly pay run
• Comply with HMRC legislation
• P35 Returns
• Distribution of P60s
• Reconcile information relating to P35 submissions
• Pension returns
• Benefit scheme

My client is looking for someone who is able to demonstrate working knowledge of leading a busy and high volume payroll.

Other person specifications include:

• End to end payroll experience in a high volume environment
• Supervisor/Team Leader experience
• Confident and able to communicate effectively
• Enjoys the work you do and are enthusiastic in your work approach
• Be flexible in your work styles, adapting to change in a positive way
• Able to deliver within timelines
• Uses own initiative
• Excellent use of Microsoft programmes
