Part-time Bookkeeper/Senior Accounts Assistant

Think Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a local client in Hemel Hempstead to help them sourcing for an immediately available Accounts Assistant on a Temporary – Permanent basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will support the Accountants with VAT Returns for a large portfolio of clients, as well as supporting the Finance team, and wider organisation with various key administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• VAT Returns
• Processing of receipts
• Processing supplier invoices and dealing with queries
• Regularly checking outstanding goods received for missing invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Other tasks including, but not limited to
• Issuing weekly exchange rates
• Skills and Experience Required:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum two years accounting experience
• Confident communicator, both internally and externally
• Numerical and analytical
• A can-do attitude with a flexible approach, a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
