Think Accountancy & Finance are supporting an Accounting firm in Watford who are on the look out for a Junior Accountant to join their office in central Watford.  The office is modern with a great mix of people. They pride themselves on their welcoming, supporting and sociable environment. You will join a great team who will guide you through training and studying ACCA or ACA.

The successful candidates will manage a large portfolio of Clients, providing Accountancy and Tax advice.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in accountancy or someone who has just completed their AAT Level 4.

Duties:

• To communicate effectively with all Clients in a professional and timely manner
• Be point of contact for all Client queries both inbound and outbound via telephone/email
• To prepare all yearend accounts, Self-Assessment Tax Returns and VAT Returns
• Preparing Client Management accounts
• Processing Client payroll and assisting IR35 contract reviews
• Using internal reporting systems to monitor deadlines
