Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a market leading organisation based within the Watford area. This close knit company have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join their team. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a similar role. 

Salary - £30-35k depending on experience

Some of the duties will include: 

• Sourcing potential suppliers
• Handling all of the procurement 
• Maintaining records for PO's, quotations and invoices 
• Handling any queries from suppliers
• Manage sample requests for new materials
• Manage price negotiations with target of cost down
• Identify and communicate new opportunities for supply
• Manage supplier portfolio identifying opportunities 
• Handling purchase requests and scheduled deliveries 

The suitable candidate: 

• Previous experience within a similar position
• Strong negotiation skills 
• Good organisational skills 
• Strong communication skills 
• Previous knowledge of SAP
