Interim Credit Controller

We are looking to recruit a temporary Credit Controller to be responsible for chasing a backlog of aged debt across the UK and internationally, built up over a busy summer period. This is a key opportunity for this growing client to maximise cash flow and minimise bad debt losses. 

Responsibilities:

• Chase outstanding invoices in a systematic and coordinated way
• Deliver cash collection targets
• Maintain appropriate records to clearly show sequence of communication with customers
• Deal with customer queries in a prompt and efficient manner
• Post sales receipts to the correct customer account daily
• Send customer statements 

Knowledge, skills and experience:

• MUST be available for an immediate start
• Proven track record in handling credit control
• A thorough understanding of the sales cycle and general accounting procedures
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to use initiative
• Customer focused
• Ability to prioritise activities in order to meet targets
• Flexible to manage changing priorities
• Commercial awareness
