We are recruiting for a Pricing Co-Ordinator to join our Operations team. Do you have previous supply chain experience and/or a background in an analytical role?

The Operations team is responsible for shipping raw materials from around the world into the UK and Poland, identifying cost-effective freight routes, consolidating shipments, establishing locally held stock, ensuring that they supply materials to customers on time, and providing the very best customer service in terms of pricing, packaging, lead times, documentation, resolution of problems and communication with customer personnel.

There is great scope for personal and professional development within this role, and you will be supported by extensive training on their systems, enthusiastic and supportive colleagues and outside training if required.  This role is essential in enabling them to provide their customers and suppliers with excellence in material supply and customer service.

9am-5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am-5pm on Friday.

Duties:

• Receiving and evaluating pricing information from suppliers.
• Analysing cost changes and their impact on the business.
• Managing product and pricing data within their internal systems.
• Working with colleagues in the Supply Chain and Sales teams to decide on Costing strategy.
• Calculating final pricing to customers.
• Working with the Sales team to manage customer requirements and resolve any queries.
• Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues to resolve any pricing issues.
• Learning about each role in the Operations team in order to understand the supply chain process including materials management (warehouse), sales order processing, purchase order processing etc.

Candidate requirements:

• Enthusiastic, numerate and self-motivated
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong educational background
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Commercial awareness
• High degree of accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail
• Previous supply chain experience and/or a background in an analytical role
