Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a great business in Watford in recruiting a Payroll Assistant Manager to join a very busy payroll team! You will be supporting a great manager as well as four team members in the day-to-day payroll duties.
You will be responsible for overseeing the Group Payroll processes from start to finish ensuring all are paid correctly and on time.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The client is looking for someone who has previous payroll experience in a high volume environment. You will have full end to end payroll experience and also have good HMRC experience including PAYE Tax and NI to help support queries from employees. Due to the nature of this position, previous management experience would be highly desirable. The right candidate will be able to build effective relationships with managers and employees at all levels within the business.
The team is highly vibrant, and the successful candidate will have an outward and confident personality who will motivate the team on a daily basis.
