Think Accountancy and Finance have been asked to support a local business in recruiting a candidate to join their team as a Payroll / Pay and Bill Assistant. The role offers a busy yet rewarding opportunity in a company that have an environment that is as dynamic as it is fun!

The company is flexible in office and working from home. Ideally it would be required for the successful applicant to be in the office 5 days the first week of the month, 2 days the second and the remainder a split between office and home.

The key objectives of this role are.

• End to end payroll for high levels of contractors
• Processing contractor timesheets, ensuring that payments are made punctually and accurately.
• Liaising with both internal teams and contractors directly to resolve timesheet queries efficiently and effectively.
• Liaising with Limited/Umbrella companies
• Chasing outstanding PO numbers
• To calculate contractor invoices with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ensure contractor bank details are updated and correct on all systems.
• Report to Supervisor of any outstanding issues and highlight any potential debtor problems.

Experience Required.

• The ideal candidate will need to have previous experience within Contractor Payroll.
• You will have worked in a recruitment company processing contractors payroll or within a company that pays contractors.
• Strong attention to detail and a well organised individual.
• Able to confidently build relationships with internal teams and contractors.
• Experience of working within a multi-currency organisation would be an advantage.
