Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business based in Hemel Hempstead
Monday to Friday
Early start, early finish – Hours to be discussed with shortlisted candidates
Duties:
- Checking customers credit ratings
- Ensuring new customer accounts are set-up within company credit policy
- Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
- Providing weekly reports on debtor status
- Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Following the Company credit policy to issue warnings and legal letters to late payers
- Liaise with debt collector/solicitor to recover unpaid debts
- Keeping a record of all communication with customers
Candidate requirements:
- Good Excel skills
- Cash flow management
- Working in an SME environment
- Computer literate – be able to run reports and check transactions postings
- Tenacious and determined
- Able to develop good working relationships over the phone and by email
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent written and verbal communication
