This is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous technical experience to join a fantastic team. The suitable candidate for this position will have some experience within an IT focused role, they will also need to live close to St Albans as this is a hybrid working position. 

Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 plus great benefits 

Some of the duties will include:

• To resolve queries and help requests from the IT ticketing system in accordance with the SLAs
• Escalating critical and challenging cases to the 2nd Line Support Engineers when needed
• Maintain regular communication internally, identifying process and service improvements
• Report and provide results of system tests and suggest action options based on your end-user experience
• Effectively gauge and monitor network and service stability
• Perform end-user system tests, troubleshooting and perform necessary repairs on client devices
• Support the IT Manager with the successful implementation of new software, hardware and ad-hoc project developments

Experience required:

• Microsoft 365 Office
• Microsoft Windows 10 platform - troubleshooting
• Microsoft Active Directory (ADDC – fault finding)
• Networking for end-users (patching)
• Understanding when to escalate advance cases to the 2nd Line IT Team or IT Manager 
• Awareness of GDPR legislation
