Think Accountancy and Finance are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant (Accounts Receivable) for a client based on the outskirts of Watford. Due to their location, we are looking for candidates who are able to commute with ease – car drivers are preferable.

Experience working with Oracle is desirable and the successful candidate will have strong ERP system knowledge.

Main job responsibilities include:

• Raising invoices and credit notes alongside recording revenue postings daily
• To process receipts from customers and allocate to invoices alongside processing refunds
• Generate invoices/credit notes/write offs
• Import costs from subledger and monitor failures
• To prepare journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure sub ledgers are posted to the general ledger
• Assisting with month end

The role will be fundamental in standardising processes in place to enable governance, reporting and accuracy of financial information.

To be considered for this role your CV will demonstrate extensive Accounts Receivable experience relatable to the role duties listed above. Ideally you will have completed or be near completion of your AAT Qualification.

 Our client offers flexible working with a minimum of 2/3 days in the office and we would encourage candidates to discuss their requirements upon application.
